I wanted to use a stitch that doesn’t eat too much yarn and used one of my favorite stitches: the v-stitch which is made with (1 dc, ch 2, 1 dc) in the same stitch. Bigger projects can become very expensive as you need a lot of yarn. I aimed for the same length and fit and used Lion Brand’s Touch of Merino yarn which is very soft.
